All Volunteer
Civitan was founded in Alabama in 1917 and has grown steadily ever since. Civitan International is now a worldwide community service organization of men, women and teenagers in 24 countries, on four continents joining together to perform community service projects.
Saturday Morning Meetings
The Linton Civitan Club meets every saturday morning at Stoll’s County Inn, on the highway in Linton. The meeting begins at seven AM. Civitan meetings are open to everyone. Visit with us and see what we have done and what we are planning and consider joining us. You don’t need an invitation to show up any Saturday morning.
Look Around
This website is proof positive of the good being done and the people doing it. We put this site here not to ring our bells or toot our horn, but to show you what we do with the hope you will join us and help us do even more. Dues are less than $7 a month. No secret handshakes or chants to learn, just real folks doing real work.
We have listed our members for all to see. We are proud of them, every one. They all joind to work and help and they all do, some more than others. Every Linton Civitan Member works at their own speed and as much or as little as they see fit, and we love ‘em all.
The Ham Breakfast
Much has been said and written about the July 4 Ham Breakfast held in the Linton Firehourse every Independence Day from 6 until 9 am. It’s the ham. Baked underground in hot coals for 22 hours, it makes the perfect compliment to fried and scrambled eggs, toast and coffee. People drive an hour or more to eat the breakfast, knowing every dollar goes into our community to help others. We have some pircures for you to see, too. Click here or on Projects, above.

Updates From Our Members
Chris B has begun recording some meetings and events on video, and is working on creating a new YouTube channel. We hope to feature some of his videos on the site real soon.
Unfortunately, while on holiday in Europe recently, Martin had a pretty bad experience with his airport transfer and missed his flight. He’s now setting up a new website, Malta Airport Transfers, to help make sure nobody else goes through what he did. We wish him all the best with this project.
Those who know Paula will be aware that she considers herself to be a bit of a card shark. She’s been looking to play some online poker (legally of course) for a while, and has just found a big poker bonus to get her career started. We wish her good luck on a personal level, and hope she might consider donating some of her winnings to a worthy cause….
